Letter from Susie 2020

Dear Mom,

I am missing you and thinking of you often.  I remember all the times when you would visit the senior home and bring your accordion and entertain.  I have recently joined a volunteer program called PORCH. It is an organization to address loneliness and isolation.  We go to a low income housing apartments and visit with the residents. We bring them food and play games and talk.  I am definitely reaching out of my comfort zone with this activity.  I wonder if you ever felt uncomfortable. Did you do this on your own or did you go with other  people? We go as a group but I don't really know anyone yet.

My kids are all growing up so fast. Collin graduated and is now employed at Ford Motor Co. Allison is a Senior at Kettering and is planning to do school abroad in Germany this spring. We are planning to visit her, but this is all dependent on how bad this new Corona virus gets. Shane is very much into Robotics and is a pretty typical teenage boy.
