Missing you
Grandma,
I wish I could tell you in person that I am pregnant! We decided to wait to find of the gender of our child until the birth...I bet you know what that is like! I have so many questions I would like to ask you about what all SIX pregnancies were like for you now that I am in this life-stage. I am sure you would have plenty of remedies for all of the ails. Luckily, morning sickness was not too bad during my first trimester, but I could not believe how incredibly tired I was! I had a few health concerns during my first trimester that were pretty scary for myself and the baby. Going through that made me realize what a miracle life is and that healthy babies are a blessing that should not be taken for granted.
I am really missing you and wishing that our child could know your beautiful soul. I am so grateful for the memories, photos, and home videos of you.
I love you Grandma!
Rachel

Letter from Susie - 2016
Dear Mom,
Today is Feb. 29th 2016; a leap year. Tomorrow will mark 13 years missing you. Dad is really having some difficult days. Although we are all doing our very best to take care of him, Jerry and Rose have taken on so many of the tasks necessary for his care. I think dad appreciates all of the attention and love that he is getting and is accepting of our help - well for the most part anyway. Watch over him and help him find comfort and happiness. I am hoping each one of us will be given the opportunity to let dad know how much we respect and admire him for all that he has done for us, and how much we love him.
The Lord of the Dance is playing at the Palace of Auburn Hills tomorrow. I wish I could take you there to see.
Love You,
Susie
